Cairngorm Capital Merges Grant & Stone and Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG)

Cairngorm Capital Partners has merged two of its portfolio companies, Grant & Stone Group and Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG), to form the largest independent builders' merchant group in southern England. The combined business (trading at group level as IBMG) comprises 123 branches, revenues in excess of £500 million and more than 1,700 employees, creating a platform for further growth, new market entry and M&A.
