TRIMEDX has acquired Centurion Service Group, a full-service surplus medical equipment management and auction platform, to expand its Clinical Asset Management offering. The acquisition will integrate Centurion’s auction services, pricing data and e-commerce marketplace with TRIMEDX’s clinical asset informatics to help healthcare providers maximize value from excess equipment and optimize capital spend.

Henry Schein, Inc. completed the acquisition of a majority interest in TriMed, Inc., a Santa Clarita, California–based developer of orthopedic implants and solutions for lower and upper extremities. TriMed reported approximately $52 million in 2023 net sales; the TriMed founders will remain with the business and financial terms were not disclosed. Henry Schein said the deal will broaden its surgical product offering to IDNs and ASCs and is expected to be neutral to 2024 non-GAAP EPS and accretive thereafter.
