Ichor Holdings, Ltd. (NASDAQ: ICHR) has entered into a merger agreement to acquire IMG Companies, LLC, a Livermore, California precision machining and surface-treatment business, for $270 million. The acquisition, financed with cash and incremental borrowing, expands Ichor's precision manufacturing capabilities and customer exposure into medical and aerospace markets and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Scholastic Invests in 9 Story Media Group

The deal (signed March 2024, closed June 21, 2024) brings 9 Story's production, distribution and licensing capabilities into Scholastic to expand its content creation, global distribution and merchandising opportunities; sellers included an affiliate of private equity firm ZMC and other selling shareholders.

Government Executive Media Group Acquires City & State New York

Government Executive Media Group (GEMG) has acquired City & State New York (CSNY) with financial support from private equity firm Growth Catalyst Partners; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition supports GEMG's state and local growth strategy and will keep CSNY based in New York with founder Tom Allon serving as Publisher and General Manager as GEMG expands the CSNY model into other states and major cities.
