The deal brings Hornbill's technical capabilities and blue-chip client relationships into OCU's platform as an add-on to support growth in critical energy security and Net Zero initiatives; shareholders (including SME Investment Partners) appointed advisers to run the sale.

Triton Combines Assemblin and Caverion to Form Assemblin Caverion Group

Triton is combining its portfolio companies Assemblin and Caverion into the newly formed Assemblin Caverion Group, creating a leading Northern European technical service and installation business. The combined group will be incorporated in Sweden, operate across around ten countries, generate roughly EUR 3.8 billion (SEK 43.5 billion) in annual turnover and employ about 21,900 people; leadership will be drawn from both businesses with Assemblin CEO Mats Johansson as Group CEO.

OCU Group (Instalcom) Acquires Opals

The undisclosed deal brings Opals' specialist fibre and civil engineering capabilities and ~200 employees into OCU, strengthening the group's telecoms infrastructure offering across the East Midlands and East of England as part of a broader consolidation strategy.
