Sealed Air (NYSE: SEE) has acquired Foxpak Flexibles Ltd., a privately-owned Irish flexible packaging company known for pioneering digital printing on pouches and flexible films. The acquisition, conducted under SEE Ventures, adds digital printing and highly decorated flexible-packaging capabilities to Sealed Air’s portfolio and will support innovations in smart and digitally printed packaging for food, pet food, seafood and snacks markets.

The undisclosed deal expands ProAmpac's manufacturing capabilities and European customer base—particularly in protein (meat, cheese, dairy), coffee, pet food and nutrition supplement packaging—while Euroflex will adopt the ProAmpac brand and continue operations in Donegal.

Butterfly Equity Acquires ePac Flexible Packaging

Butterfly Equity has completed its acquisition of ePac Holdings, the San Diego–headquartered digitally printed flexible packaging provider, from an investor consortium that included Amcor and Indevco North America; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal establishes ePac as Butterfly’s first platform investment in packaging and keeps incumbent management (including CEO and co‑founder Virag Patel) in place with a significant retained ownership stake as Butterfly backs ePac’s growth across its 14 North American facilities and its proprietary ePacONE technology.
