Emergent Cold Latin America Launches with $450M Raise and Acquires IQF Facility in Piura, Peru

Emergent Cold Latin America launched with a $450 million equity raise led by anchor investors Lineage Logistics, Stonepeak Partners and D1 Capital Partners and announced the completion of its first strategic acquisition: a new individually quick-frozen (IQF) fruit processing facility and adjacent 7,300-pallet-position cold storage warehouse in Piura, Peru. The new platform, based in São Paulo with a corporate office in Miami, will deploy capital for greenfield projects and acquisitions across Latin America to modernize cold-chain infrastructure and support food and beverage customers and trade at ports such as Paita.
