LogicMonitor Acquires Airbrake

LogicMonitor, the Santa Barbara–based cloud infrastructure monitoring and observability platform, acquired Airbrake, a developer-centric application error and performance monitoring company based in the Bay Area. The acquisition extends LogicMonitor’s observability platform into developer environments and CI/CD workflows to provide unified visibility across infrastructure, logs, errors and performance.

PSG and Golub Capital Lead $800M Strategic Investment in LogicMonitor; Vista Remains Controlling Shareholder

LogicMonitor, a Santa Barbara–based SaaS hybrid observability platform, announced an $800 million equity and strategic financing round led by a consortium including PSG and Golub Capital, valuing the company at approximately $2.4 billion (including debt). Vista Equity Partners will remain the controlling shareholder; the funding will be used to accelerate product and platform expansion, pursue M&A, and broaden LogicMonitor’s global footprint.

Catchpoint Acquires Technology Assets of Thundra.io

Catchpoint has acquired the technology assets of Thundra.io and will integrate Thundra's serverless, API and microservices monitoring capabilities into its Internet Performance Monitoring platform. The Thundra team has joined Catchpoint and will form a new center of excellence in Ankara, Turkey to accelerate integration and expand Catchpoint's cloud, API and serverless observability features.

Apica Acquires LOGIQ.AI

Summa Equity Acquires Majority Stake in Logpoint

Summa Equity is acquiring a majority stake in Logpoint, the Copenhagen-based cybersecurity vendor, via its EUR 2.3bn Fund III to build a European cybersecurity powerhouse. The transaction leaves Yttrium as a significant minority shareholder and is subject to final regulatory approval (expected Q2 2023).

ScienceLogic Acquires Restorepoint

ScienceLogic, a Reston, Virginia–based AIOps and hybrid-cloud IT management company, acquired Restorepoint, a network configuration and change-management software provider, to expand its SL1 platform into NetOps and SecOps. The acquisition integrates Restorepoint's automated configuration backup, recovery and compliance analysis capabilities into ScienceLogic to improve visibility, change monitoring and threat detection across hybrid IT estates.
