Ionic Partners Acquires Sparkrock

Ionic Partners, a software-focused private investment firm, has acquired Sparkrock, a Canada-based provider of cloud ERP solutions for K‑12, nonprofit and human services organizations. Ionic will appoint co-founder Andy Tryba as Sparkrock CEO and intends to invest in product innovation, customer success, and both organic and acquisitive growth to expand Sparkrock’s footprint in Canada and the United States.

TimePayment Acquires QuickSpark Financial

TimePayment, a Boston-based FinTech owned by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group, has acquired QuickSpark Financial, an e-commerce-focused equipment financing firm based in Tempe, Arizona. The deal brings QuickSpark’s vendor integrations, active leases (including those held by Briland Capital and QSE Capital), and its team into a new QuickSpark strategic business unit within TimePayment to expand e-commerce capabilities and market reach.

Nintex Acquires Skuid
