Wynnchurch Capital has acquired Principal Industries (also referred to as Principal Lighting Group), a San Angelo, Texas–based manufacturer of LED components and engineered assemblies for signage and architectural branding. The founders, Bryan and Blake Vincent, and Principal's management team are rolling with the transaction; seller Valesco Industries exited its Fund II investment.

Principal Industries Acquires SloanLED

Principal Industries, a San Angelo-based manufacturer of electrical components and LED solutions, has acquired SloanLED, a Ventura, California manufacturer of engineered LED lighting for signage, retail, hospitality and petroleum markets. Principal Industries Acquires HanleyLED Brand

Principal Industries, a San Angelo, Texas-based manufacturer of electrical components and LED solutions for the commercial sign industry, announced the acquisition of the HanleyLED brand. The deal expands Principal Industries' signage product portfolio and is accompanied by a distribution agreement with Grimco to make Principal's product lines (including the newly acquired HanleyLED) available across Grimco's 65+ North American branches.

Baymark Partners Acquires Brilliance LED with Financing from Brookside Capital Partners

Dallas-based private equity firm Baymark Partners has acquired Brilliance LED, LLC, a Carefree, Arizona manufacturer of LED landscape lamps and fixtures. Brookside Capital Partners provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to facilitate the transaction; Brilliance sells over 500 SKUs to more than 200 distributors nationwide.

Corinthian Capital and Valesco Acquire Majority Interest in Trimlight

An affiliate of Corinthian Capital Group, in partnership with Valesco Industries, has acquired a majority interest in Trimlight, Inc., a West Jordan, Utah-based pioneer in permanent exterior LED lighting. The transaction was structured as a majority recapitalization to support Trimlight's growth — the company sells through a network of more than 300 exclusive dealers across the United States and Canada; FS Investments provided debt financing and D.A. Davidson acted as Trimlight's financial advisor.

Bonaccord Capital Partners Acquires Minority Interest in Lead Edge Capital

Bonaccord Capital Partners, an affiliated manager of P10, Inc., has acquired a passive minority equity interest in Lead Edge Capital, a $5 billion growth equity firm. The investment is intended to support Lead Edge's value-creation initiatives and continued growth while leaving the firm's day-to-day management and investment process unchanged.
