STV Group, Inc. has agreed to acquire CP&Y, Inc., an employee-owned engineering, architectural and field services consulting firm with more than 375 professionals across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Florida and Virginia. The acquisition—completed by STV, a portfolio company of The Pritzker Organization—bolsters STV's presence in the Texas infrastructure market and expands its water and wastewater and transportation capabilities nationwide.

Team Group Acquires S.&T. Group

Team Group, a global facility management and industrial services provider, has acquired S.&T. Group, a multi-trade contracting and maintenance business serving Northern Ontario. The deal expands Team Group's presence in the Algoma District and brings in S.&T.'s electrical, HVAC, plumbing, data and general contracting capabilities while retaining the target's existing management and employees.

CI Financial Corp. Acquires Majority Interest in Stavis & Cohen Financial LLC

CI Financial Corp. will acquire a majority interest in Houston-based registered investment advisor Stavis & Cohen Financial LLC, which manages approximately US$570 million in assets. The deal expands CI's U.S. wealth platform (raising U.S. assets to about US$13 billion and North American wealth assets to ~US$59 billion) and is expected to close prior to year-end; terms were not disclosed.

UES Acquires Stevenson Consulting

UES, a national engineering and consulting firm, has acquired Stevenson Consulting, a Midlothian, Virginia-based full-service engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, materials testing and inspection, and code compliance. The acquisition expands UES' Mid-Atlantic footprint, adds more than 100 engineering and construction professionals across 10 branch offices, and coincides with founder Chris Stevenson's retirement and leadership transition to Colin Stevenson.

King Risk Partners Acquires Cypress Risk Management
