Accenture Acquires Impendi to Boost Private Equity Sourcing & Procurement Capabilities

Accenture has acquired Impendi, a New York–based sourcing and procurement services firm focused on private equity clients, to expand Accenture's private equity offerings and procurement analytics capabilities. Impendi—founded in 2014 with roughly 130 sourcing and procurement professionals across the U.S. and India—will join Accenture's Sourcing and Procurement practice to accelerate advisory, execution and analytics services for private equity portfolio companies.

Accenture Acquires The Shelby Group

Accenture has acquired The Shelby Group, a Schaumburg, Illinois-based procurement technology consultancy, to expand its sourcing and procurement transformation capabilities. The Shelby Group's ~172 sales and delivery professionals will join Accenture's Connected Solutions group; financial terms were not disclosed and WestView Capital Partners completed the sale.

Accenture Acquires Workforce Insight

The acquisition strengthens Accenture's Workforce Management practice by adding Workforce Insight’s expertise in UKG, Workforce Software and Workday implementations across healthcare, manufacturing, retail and the public sector; financial terms were not disclosed.

Accenture Acquires Inspirage

Accenture has agreed to acquire End-to-End Analytics, a Palo Alto–based analytics and data science consultancy with additional offices in Brazil. The acquisition brings more than 70 analytics professionals and specialized assets in supply chain, forecasting, pricing, marketing and customer analytics into Accenture's Applied Intelligence practice to expand its analytics, AI and data capabilities across the Americas.
