Electrical Components International Acquires BHC Cable Assemblies

Electrical Components International (ECI) has acquired BHC Cable Assemblies, a Burlington, Ontario-based manufacturer of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and electromechanical assemblies serving medical, aerospace, renewable energy and entertainment markets. BHC will continue to be led by its current management and operate from its two Burlington facilities as part of ECI's strategy to expand capabilities and presence in high-value, high-growth end markets.

TPC Wire & Cable Acquires Integrated Cable Systems, Inc.

TPC Wire & Cable, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has acquired Integrated Cable Systems, Inc. (ICS), an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of custom cables, harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies and industrial panels based in Longmont, Colorado. The acquisition is an add-on to TPC's newly formed Engineered Products Division to expand capabilities and product offerings into high-reliability end markets such as medical, semiconductor/test & measurement, aerospace and defense.

Torque Capital Group Acquires Cable Manufacturing & Assembly, Inc.

Torque Capital Group and its investor group have completed the purchase of Cable Manufacturing & Assembly, Inc. (CMA), a Bolivar, Ohio-based manufacturer of mechanical cables, controls and actuation assemblies serving automotive, marine and power-sports OEMs. Dan Pappano will remain CEO and Torque said it will provide operational resources to support CMA's organic growth and pursue add-on acquisitions.

Amphenol Corporation Acquires Halo Technology Limited

Halo, headquartered in Tustin, California, is a manufacturer of active and passive fiber optic interconnect components serving IT and data communications, mobile networks and broadband markets, with expected 2021 sales of roughly $250 million.

Electrical Components International (ECI), a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, acquired Omni Connection International, a wire-harness and connection-systems manufacturer serving tier-one automotive suppliers. The deal adds Omni’s engineering capabilities and global manufacturing footprint (approximately 1,300 employees across the U.S., China, and the Philippines) to ECI to support growth in automotive electronics and ADAS applications.

Atlas Holdings Acquires International Wire Group Holdings

The deal brings IWG’s ~1,600+ employees and 17 manufacturing facilities into Atlas’ industrial manufacturing portfolio; Gregory J. Smith was named IWG President & CEO as part of the transition.
