Applied Underwriters has acquired Concept Special Risks, a UK-based managing general agent (MGA) specializing in yacht, pleasure craft and excursion insurance across the US and Caribbean. The acquisition expands Applied's specialty underwriting capabilities in the luxury marine segment and brings Concept's ~20-person team and Lloyd's coverholder capacity into Applied's global risk services platform.
