Pavion (formerly Corbett Technology Solutions), a Wind Point Partners–backed provider of fire, safety, security and communications integration, has acquired Netronix Integration, a San Jose–based security systems integrator. The add-on expands Pavion's security integration capabilities and geographic footprint across the southern and western U.S. and internationally, strengthening service delivery in access control, video surveillance and intercom systems.

Appvion Acquires Nekoosa Coated Products

Appvion, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, announced the addition of Nekoosa Coated Products, LLC to its platform as part of an investment by Wynnchurch. Nekoosa, headquartered in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, is a manufacturer of specialty engineered papers, films and application tapes previously owned by Sentinel Capital Partners; financial terms were not disclosed.

Duraco Specialty Tapes Acquires Rayven, Inc.

Duraco Specialty Tapes, an OpenGate Capital portfolio company, has acquired Rayven, Inc., a St. Paul, Minnesota developer and manufacturer of coated functional films, specialty tapes, and release liners, from private sellers. The add-on expands Duraco's product development capabilities, adds coating capacity, and broadens its addressable markets in flexible packaging, building products, graphics, and healthcare.

Wynnchurch Capital Acquires Appvion's Thermal Coating Business

Wynnchurch Capital has acquired the thermal coating business assets of Appvion Holding Corp., a long-established provider of direct thermal coatings and renewable, fiber-based packaging solutions. The transaction, terms not disclosed, transfers Appvion's thermal coating operations (headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin) to Wynnchurch, which said it will invest to drive growth and capitalize on tailwinds in labels and packaging.

Pixelle Acquires Rollsource and Appvion Carbonless Rolls & Security Papers Business

Pixelle Specialty Solutions (a Lindsay Goldberg-backed specialty paper platform) acquired two specialty papers businesses: Rollsource from Veritiv Corporation and the carbonless rolls and security papers business from Appvion Operations Inc. The Rollsource purchase includes a converting facility in Pittsburg, Kansas, while the Appvion transaction included no production assets — Pixelle will manufacture those products at its Chillicothe, Ohio mill. These add-ons expand Pixelle's product portfolio in carbonless and security papers and broaden its service to forms printers and related customers.

Wellspring Capital Management Acquires Paragon Films

Wellspring Capital Management has acquired Paragon Films, a Broken Arrow, Oklahoma-based manufacturer of high-performance stretch film, from Wind Point Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed; Wellspring said it will support Paragon's growth through internal initiatives and selective acquisitions while partnering with the existing management team.
