Salka plans to refurbish and eventually repower the facility to continue generation (estimated to power more than 11,000 homes), expand its California presence, and preserve the project from decommissioning.

The portfolio includes 11 contracted natural gas–fired assets located across seven markets, and Invenergy will retain its existing ownership interest and operational role.
