ASSA ABLOY Acquires Amecor

ASSA ABLOY Group has agreed to acquire Amecor, a South African designer, manufacturer and distributor of security communication equipment, from Carlyle (via its Carlyle Sub‑Saharan Africa Fund). Financial terms were not disclosed. Amecor is headquartered in Johannesburg (Gauteng), has approximately 120 employees, and has shifted toward network services—with over 600,000 monthly subscribers and recurring revenue representing more than 70% of sales.
