Axon, a technology provider for public safety organizations, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Prepared, an AI-based emergency communications platform. Prepared converts raw 911 call data into a unified, actionable view by integrating audio transcription, text/video context, GPS location, and real-time language translation, supporting agencies across more than 49 states. The deal is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in early Q4.
