The deal deepens Doeren Mayhew's tax capabilities and expands its presence in West Michigan; Maurice Benoit joined Doeren Mayhew as a principal and relocated with his staff to the firm's downtown Grand Rapids office.

The transaction also brings Bailey Carr CPAs (Rochester) and Bahgat & Laurito‑Bahgat CPAs (Fredonia) into Doeren Mayhew, adding more than 100 employees and seven partners and expanding the firm's audit, tax, outsourced accounting and advisory capabilities in key sectors such as construction, health care and real estate.
