CORE Industrial Partners Invests in Arizona Natural Resources

CORE Industrial Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm, completed an investment in Arizona Natural Resources (ANR), a Phoenix-based contract manufacturer of personal care products specializing in haircare and skincare. CORE said it will partner with ANR’s management to pursue strategic add-on acquisitions and expand the company’s product offering and geographic presence; ANR operates a 132,000 sq. ft., FDA-registered cGMP facility with 23 production lines.

CORE Industrial Partners–backed Arizona Natural Resources (ANR) has acquired Marianna Beauty Holdings, Inc., a long-established Omaha-based contract manufacturer of hair, skin and beauty products. Monroe Capital provided a senior credit facility to support the deal; the combination creates a larger personal-care manufacturing platform with nearly 40 filling lines and roughly 550,000 square feet of combined capacity to serve retail, salon and private-label customers.

(CFI), a Cedar Grove, New Jersey-based contract manufacturer of high-end fragrances, deodorants and cosmetic products. The acquisition is the fourth add-on to ANR's platform, expanding the platform's fragrance capabilities and East Coast footprint; Monroe Capital arranged a senior credit facility to support the transaction.

Harvest Health & Recreation Acquires Arizona Natural Selections

Harvest Health & Recreation Inc. announced the acquisition of Arizona Natural Selections for a non-material, undisclosed amount of stock, gaining rights to operate four vertical medical cannabis licenses in Arizona. The deal adds four retail locations (operating under Arizona Natural Selections brands), two cultivation facilities (including a 55,000 sq. ft. indoor facility in Phoenix and a 322-acre site in Willcox with 70,000 sq. ft. greenhouse), and the Darwin branded product line, further deepening Harvest's integrated operations in its home state.
