Etex Acquires Sigmat from LDC

Belgian building‑products group Etex has acquired Sigmat, a Leeds‑based specialist in light‑gauge steel framing and offsite construction, from mid‑market private equity firm LDC. The deal brings Sigmat into Etex’s New Ways division to expand Etex’s offsite manufacturing capabilities and accelerate adoption of light‑gauge steel framing across UK residential, education and hospitality markets.
