Gibraltar Industries Acquires Assets of Delta Separations

Gibraltar Industries acquired the assets of California-based Delta Separations for $50 million in an all-cash transaction that closed on February 13, 2020. Delta Separations, a manufacturer of centrifugal ethanol-based extraction systems serving cannabis, hemp and botanical processors, reported 2019 revenue of $46 million and is expected to be accretive to Gibraltar in 2020.

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals Acquires Astria Therapeutics

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals has completed its acquisition of Astria Therapeutics for an implied transaction value of approximately $700 million, financed with cash on hand and a ~$396.6 million facility provided by funds managed by Blackstone plus ~37.3 million BioCryst shares issued to Astria equity holders. The deal adds Astria's Phase 3 long-acting plasma kallikrein inhibitor navenibart to BioCryst's hereditary angioedema (HAE) portfolio and provides Astria's early-stage atopic dermatitis program (STAR0310) for which BioCryst will pursue strategic alternatives.

Bruker Corporation acquired PepSep, a Danish maker of nanoflow liquid chromatography (nanoLC) columns, emitters and components to expand its timsTOF 4D‑Proteomics consumables portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed; Bruker also announced an OEM agreement with IonOpticks to produce Bruker-branded high-performance pulled-tip columns.

Dragonfly Biosciences Acquires Premium Extraction Services

Dragonfly Biosciences (DragonflyCBD) has acquired full ownership of Premium Extraction Services Limited, a large-scale ethanol CBD extraction facility based in Romania. The acquisition gives Dragonfly in-house extraction capacity capable of producing over 1,000 kg of CBD per month, supporting vertical integration and large-scale supply for its CBD product lines.

CatSci Acquires Reach Separations

ATS Acquires BioDot from Artemis Capital Partners

The acquisition expands ATS's life-sciences and diagnostics automation capabilities and follows BioDot's growth under Artemis since its March 2020 investment.
