Employer.com has acquired Bench Accounting, the bookkeeping and tax SaaS provider that recently suspended operations, in a deal intended to restore platform access and continuity for Bench customers. Employer.com said customers will retain their existing bookkeepers and platform access while Employer.com integrates Bench's bookkeeping capabilities into its workforce management and financial services offering.

Vensure Employer Solutions Acquires Tandem HR

Vensure Employer Solutions, a privately held HR/HCM technology and services provider headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, has acquired Westchester, Illinois–based Tandem HR, a full-service PEO and benefits brokerage. The acquisition expands Vensure’s PEO capabilities and Midwest footprint, adding Tandem’s client base (servicing over 20,000 worksite employees) and complementary HR services to Vensure’s platform.

Sumeru Equity Partners Makes Majority Investment in beqom

beqom, a Switzerland-based provider of cloud compensation management software, received a $300 million strategic majority investment led by Sumeru Equity Partners (Fund IV) alongside limited partner co-investors. The capital will be used to accelerate product innovation and scale beqom’s global customer base; the transaction is expected to close in Q2 subject to customary conditions.

Phenom Acquires Tandemploy
