BlueHalo will acquire Eqlipse Technologies, combining two Arlington Capital Partners portfolio companies to create a larger defense technology platform. The combined company will be headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, employ nearly 2,400 people across 11 states, approach $1 billion in annual revenue, and expand BlueHalo's capabilities in electronic warfare, cyber, SIGINT/OSINT, and advanced R&D; the deal is expected to close in Q1 2024.

The acquisition brings IAI's AI/ML, cybersecurity, hypersonics, space, 5G, data analytics and RF/communications capabilities — including a large PhD-staff and IP portfolio — into BlueHalo to accelerate productization and expand technical capabilities for DoD and commercial customers.

The acquisition adds Citadel's autonomous detection, tracking and neutralization capabilities to BlueHalo's directed-energy and layered perimeter defense portfolio to accelerate fielding of multi-modal cUAS solutions for defense, government and commercial customers.

Arlington Capital Partners announced the formation of BlueHalo by combining its portfolio company AEgis Technologies (including prior integrated acquisitions Excivity and EMRC Heli) with newly acquired Applied Technology Associates and Brilligent Solutions. The merged company, BlueHalo, will provide advanced engineering and technology solutions across space, directed energy, missile defense, C4ISR, and cyber for the national security community.

BlueHalo Acquires Verus Technology Group

The acquisition is a strategic add-on to BlueHalo’s existing c‑UAS, directed energy, and perimeter security capabilities to expand its RF detection, identification, and tracking offerings for DoD, intelligence, commercial, and international customers.

Qualys Acquires Assets of Blue Hexagon

Qualys, Inc. acquired the assets of AI/ML cybersecurity provider Blue Hexagon and will integrate Blue Hexagon’s deep-learning network detection capabilities into the Qualys Cloud Platform to provide predictive analytics and real-time threat detection. All Blue Hexagon employees joined Qualys, with Blue Hexagon CEO Nayeem Islam joining as VP of product management; the deal closed on October 4, 2022 and was paid mostly in cash with a portion in stock.
