Sparx Hockey, a privately held developer of automated skate sharpening equipment, has acquired BladeScan, a Minnesota-based maker of a high-resolution laser measurement machine and related IP. The acquisition brings BladeScan's technology, patents and founder Joe Tracy (who will join Sparx as Director of Strategic Projects) into Sparx to strengthen its measurement, R&D and product capabilities.

3STEP Sports Acquires Sports Made Personal

The acquisitions expand 200x85's youth development and exposure offerings, with 200x85 planning to continue the Colorado Springs camp and expand the showcase series to multiple U.S. cities in 2025.
