Clarivate Plc completed its acquisition of CPA Global, combining CPA Global’s IP software, data and services with Clarivate’s analytics to create an end-to-end intellectual property solutions provider. Former CPA Global shareholders — including Leonard Green & Partners, funds advised by Castik Capital and Partners Group — received approximately 217 million Clarivate ordinary shares, representing about 35% pro forma fully diluted ownership.

The acquisition expands Clarivate's life sciences and healthcare capabilities by adding Global Q's Optiqs360 Digital platform and regulatory report authoring tools to Clarivate's data and workflow offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.

Ex Libris (ProQuest) Acquires Innovative Interfaces

Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, has completed its acquisition of Innovative, a provider of integrated library systems headquartered in Emeryville, California. Innovative will operate as a business unit within Ex Libris as the combined organization integrates Ex Libris' cloud technology to accelerate development of cloud-based library solutions and support Innovative's existing product portfolio.

Atairos Takes Minority Stake in ProQuest

Atairos has acquired an ownership position in ProQuest, with ProQuest using proceeds to repurchase most shares held by entities affiliated with the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division. Cambridge Information Group remains the majority owner and Goldman Sachs will retain a minority interest; the investment from Atairos is intended to support ProQuest's continued product innovation and global growth.

Qualtrics Acquires Clarabridge

Qualtrics agreed to acquire Clarabridge in a stock transaction valued at $1.125 billion, bringing Clarabridge's omnichannel conversational analytics and AI capabilities into the Qualtrics Experience Management (XM) platform. Clarivate Acquires Majority of MotionHall Assets

Clarivate Plc has agreed to acquire the substantial majority of assets, including IP, clients and team, from MotionHall, a Silicon Valley AI start-up focused on life sciences business development solutions. The asset purchase will accelerate Clarivate's Life Sciences & Healthcare strategy by integrating MotionHall's industry-vertical AI capabilities into products such as Cortellis and a new Business Development & Licensing Enterprise Workbench.
