Columbia Care Acquires Green Leaf Medical

Columbia Care Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Green Leaf Medical, LLC for approximately $240 million ( $45 million cash and $195 million in Columbia Care common shares). The acquisition expands Columbia Care's cultivation, manufacturing, retail and wholesale footprint across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Virginia, and is expected to be immediately accretive to margins and EBITDA pending regulatory approvals.

Cresco Labs Acquires Laurel Harvest Labs

Cresco Labs has completed the acquisition of Pennsylvania clinical registrant Laurel Harvest Labs, adding ~52,000 sq. ft. of indoor cultivation/processing capacity, an operational dispensary in Montgomeryville and a second dispensary under construction in Scranton. The deal expands Cresco’s retail and cultivation footprint in Pennsylvania to strengthen its wholesale market position and support clinical research partnerships.

Columbia Care Completes Acquisition of CannAscend

Columbia Care Inc. completed its acquisition of Ohio-based CannAscend, the owner and operator of four dispensaries in Dayton, Logan, Marietta and Monroe, effective July 1. The transaction (originally structured as a purchase option agreement in 2018) will be settled with $14.2 million paid from escrow and will consolidate CannAscend into Columbia Care's Ohio operations, strengthening the company's vertically integrated footprint in the state.

Cresco Labs Acquires Cultivate in Massachusetts

Cresco Labs has closed its acquisition of Cultivate, a vertically integrated Massachusetts cannabis operator with three dispensaries and approximately 42,000 square feet of active cultivation canopy. The deal increases Cresco's in-state cultivation to ~64,000 square feet and expands its retail footprint in Massachusetts as part of a strategy to deepen presence in large, attractive state markets.

The Cannabist Company Acquires Ciencia Labs Portfolio

The Cannabist Company (formerly Columbia Care) acquired the Ciencia Labs portfolio earlier in 2024 and is launching the Ciencia Labs brand dreamt in Maryland, with additional markets and products planned for 2025. The acquisition expands The Cannabist Company’s branded product offerings and supports broader retail and wholesale distribution across its dispensary and wholesale channels.

ClinActiv Holdings to Acquire Crescita Therapeutics

Crescita Therapeutics entered into a definitive arrangement agreement to be acquired by ClinActiv Holdings in an all-cash deal valued at $0.80 per share (minimum $0.75), subject to customary working capital adjustments. The transaction is expected to close in Q2 2026 via a court-approved statutory plan of arrangement in Ontario, with Crescita’s shares to be delisted after completion.
