Gamut Capital Management Acquires Davis-Standard from ONCAP

Gamut Capital Management has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Davis-Standard, LLC from ONCAP (the middle-market private equity platform of Onex). Davis-Standard, a Pawcatuck, Connecticut–headquartered designer and manufacturer of extrusion and converting systems with more than 1,400 employees worldwide, will be positioned for accelerated growth and expanded aftermarket and process-solutions capabilities under Gamut's ownership. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal was expected to close in Q4 2021.

Davis-Standard Acquires Extrusion Technology Group (ETG) from Nimbus

Davis-Standard, a portfolio company majority owned by Gamut Capital Management, has agreed to acquire the Extrusion Technology Group (ETG) from entities controlled by Dutch investor Nimbus. The acquisition expands Davis-Standard's extrusion equipment and services portfolio by adding ETG's brands (including Battenfeld-Cincinnati, Exelliq and Simplas) and global aftermarket capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

Davis-Standard Amalgamates Deacro, Brampton Engineering and Gamma Machinery into Davis-Standard Canada Inc.

Davis-Standard announced the amalgamation of its Canadian specialty brands Deacro Industries Ltd., Brampton Engineering Inc., and Gamma Machinery into a single operating entity, Davis-Standard Canada Inc., effective January 1, 2026. The consolidation is intended to combine engineering and product capabilities, improve operational efficiency, and provide integrated global service and aftermarket support to customers in packaging, medical and other end markets.

Dieffenbacher Acquires Italian Press Manufacturer Pagnoni Impianti

German press and plant manufacturer Dieffenbacher has acquired Italian family-owned Pagnoni Impianti S.r.l., based in Aicurzio. The deal transfers Pagnoni's assets and its core four-person team to Dieffenbacher, with the business operating under the new name Pagnoni Dieffenbacher S.r.l., expanding Dieffenbacher's product and global service capabilities for wood-based panel production.

Danfoss Acquires Palladio Compressors

Danfoss has acquired Palladio Compressors Srl to add screw-compressor technology to its portfolio, supporting large-scale HVAC/R systems and high‑temperature heat pumps. The deal integrates Palladio’s efficient screw compressors — designed for natural and low‑GWP refrigerants — into Danfoss’s broader compressor, valves, controls and heat‑exchanger offering to expand capabilities and address mid‑range energy applications.

Kadant Acquires Balemaster for $54M
