AFS Group (America’s Floor Source) has acquired the assets and intellectual property of Lewis Floor & Home, a third-generation flooring, countertop, cabinet and window-treatment dealer based in Northbrook, Illinois. AFS will retain key senior leaders including owner Steve Lewis and keep the business operating from its Northbrook location as it integrates Lewis’s premium product offering and operational capabilities into its platform.

AHF Products Purchases Certain Assets and Armstrong Flooring Brand License from Armstrong Flooring, Inc.

AHF Products has completed the purchase of certain assets of Armstrong Flooring, Inc., acquiring the rights to license the Armstrong Flooring brand and three U.S. manufacturing facilities in Lancaster and Beech Creek, Pennsylvania, and Kankakee, Illinois. The acquisition expands AHF's manufacturing footprint and commercial flooring position, bringing the company's total manufacturing sites to 11 and adding a legacy brand to its portfolio.

Solina Acquires Advanced Food Systems (AFS)

France-based Solina has acquired U.S.-based Advanced Food Systems, Inc. (AFS), a Somerset, New Jersey supplier of custom dry seasoning solutions; AFS's leadership team and its ~40 employees will join Solina USA. The deal expands Solina's U.S. footprint into the Northeast and complements Solina's flavor capabilities with AFS's functional ingredient expertise for meat, poultry, frozen foods, sauces and marinades.

Impact Property Solutions Acquires OneSource Flooring and Interiors

Impact Property Solutions, a Dallas/Carrollton-based portfolio company of Blue Sage Capital, has acquired OneSource Flooring and Interiors, an Arizona-based provider of flooring products and installation services to multifamily and commercial properties. OneSource's leadership will oversee Impact's Phoenix operations effective September 1, 2024; the deal is the fifth add-on since Blue Sage invested in Impact and strengthens Impact's Sun Belt platform.

AHF Products Acquires Certain Assets of American OEM (Cumberland Products Group, LLC)

AHF Products has acquired certain assets of American OEM, the trade name of Cumberland Products Group, LLC, adding the Raintree, Hearthwood and Emily Morrow Home hardwood flooring brands and an engineered hardwood manufacturing facility in Only, Tennessee. AHF — a PE-backed flooring platform — said the acquisition will expand its product capabilities, reduce lead times, and deepen relationships with American OEM’s distributor and retail customers.

Groundworks Acquires AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists

Groundworks, a Virginia Beach–based national foundation services platform, acquired AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists of Huntsville, Alabama, adding seven offices, more than 300 employees and over $65 million of annual revenue. The deal is an add-on to Groundworks’ PE-backed platform (supported by Succession Capital Partners and Cortec Group) and strengthens the company’s Southeast footprint while advancing its strategy to build a national, vertically integrated foundation services brand.
