Infinite Reality (iR), an immersive-technology and digital media company, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Napster, the long-running music streaming service, for $207 million. iR plans to transform Napster into a social, immersive music platform that leverages XR, AI and iR's audience network to deepen artist–fan engagement and expand monetization opportunities.
