Huron Capital portfolio company The Exigent Group acquired Smith-Boughan Mechanical and Electrical Automation Systems (EASI) in two separate add-on transactions. The deals mark the sixth and seventh add-ons to the Exigent platform since its August 2022 launch and expand the platform's geographic footprint and integrated HVAC, plumbing, and controls capabilities across the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.

The acquisition is intended to accelerate Therma's service offering and scale in Southern California by combining Integrated Mechanical into Therma's existing Southern California operations.
