The acquisition adds high-fidelity training & simulation, portable power systems, and advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities to Albion River’s defense and security platform; Arotech will continue to be led by CEO Dean Krutty and remain headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

WestBridge Acquires Majority Stake in Alpine Fire Engineers

UK private equity firm WestBridge has completed a secondary buyout of Alpine Fire Engineers Ltd, investing £18.7m to take a majority stake and providing an exit for Soho Square Capital. Alpine, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Greater Manchester, designs, installs and maintains fixed mechanical fire suppression systems across multiple industries and generated c. £38m revenue in the year to 31 March 2022.

Metron-Farnier Acquires WaterSignal

Metron-Farnier LLC (Metron), a Boulder-based provider of advanced metering infrastructure and cloud analytics, has acquired Georgia-based WaterSignal, a provider of real-time water-flow monitoring and analytics. The acquisition (Metron's first since partnering with XPV Water Partners in 2019) expands Metron's water-conservation analytics capabilities and accelerates deployment into strategic real-estate and commercial markets.

Albion River Affiliate Ignium LP Accumulates 9.2% Stake in Ducommun Incorporated

Albion River LLC, through its affiliate Ignium LP, disclosed it has increased its ownership in Ducommun Incorporated (NYSE: DCO) to over 9.2% and says it has made a bid valuing the company at $60 per share. Albion criticized Ducommun's board for declaring the company "not for sale," said it plans to engage directly with shareholders, and urged board-level actions to align management incentives with a $60 strike price.

Signia Aerospace Acquires Lifesaving Systems Corp.

Signia Aerospace, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Lifesaving Systems Corp., a Florida-based supplier of helicopter and maritime rescue and survival equipment. The acquisition expands Signia's Mission Systems capabilities by adding Lifesaving Systems' rescue hooks, harnesses, litters and other maritime rescue products to its Onboard Systems business for cross-selling and operational integration.

Aalberts N.V. Acquires Sentinel Performance Solutions Group Limited

Aalberts N.V. has agreed to acquire 100% of Sentinel Performance Solutions Group Limited, a Daresbury (United Kingdom) specialist in water quality products for heating and cooling systems that generates approximately GBP 20 million in annual revenue and employs ~60 FTE. The acquisition will integrate Sentinel into Aalberts' Hydronic Flow Control segment to strengthen its product portfolio, drive geographic expansion using Aalberts' sales organization, and establish Sentinel as Aalberts' competence centre for water quality.
