The Home Depot, through its specialty distribution subsidiary SRS Distribution, completed the acquisition of GMS Inc. for an enterprise value of approximately $5.5 billion, purchasing outstanding shares for $110 per share. The deal brings GMS — a leading distributor of drywall, ceilings, steel framing and related building products — into SRS's network to expand product capabilities and better serve professional contractors across residential and commercial end markets.

The Home Depot Acquires HD Supply Holdings, Inc.

The Home Depot agreed to acquire HD Supply Holdings, Inc. in a cash tender offer valuing the business at approximately $8 billion, with the deal expected to close in late 2020. The acquisition expands The Home Depot's capabilities and distribution footprint in the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) market—particularly in multifamily and hospitality end markets—and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

SRS Distribution Acquires Sunniland Corporation

SRS Distribution Acquires Arrowhead Building Supply

The McGrath family (Scott, Zach and Christina) will remain in leadership roles at Washoe; terms were not disclosed and SRS said the acquisition complements its existing Roof Line presence in Reno as part of its Nevada expansion.
