Integrated Oncology Network (ION), a platform backed by Silver Oak Services Partners, has acquired e+CancerCare, a Nashville-based operator of outpatient cancer care centers. e+CancerCare operates 21 centers across ten states; the acquisition, together with ION’s prior Gamma West deal, creates a combined oncology platform with 51 locations across 17 states and expands ION’s capabilities in medical and radiation oncology and diagnostic services.

(DFP), a Deerfield-sponsored special purpose acquisition company, entered into a definitive agreement to complete a business combination with The Oncology Institute (TOI). Following the transaction, DFP is expected to be renamed The Oncology Institute and remain listed on NASDAQ under a new ticker, with closing expected in Q3 or Q4 2021 subject to customary conditions.

Cardinal Health Acquires Integrated Oncology Network (ION) for $1.115B

TPG and AmerisourceBergen Acquire OneOncology from General Atlantic

TPG has agreed to acquire a majority interest in OneOncology and AmerisourceBergen will take a roughly 35% minority stake for approximately $685 million, valuing OneOncology at $2.1 billion. OneOncology's affiliated practices, physicians, and management will retain minority ownership as the parties form a new joint venture; the network includes over 900 affiliated providers across 14 states and the deal is expected to close by the end of September 2023.

OneOncology Acquires United Urology Group from Audax Private Equity

OneOncology has agreed to acquire United Urology Group (UUG) from Audax Private Equity, with the deal expected to close by the end of 2024; terms were not disclosed. UUG is a national urology management services organization supporting ~250 physicians and ~1,300+ employees across multiple states, and OneOncology plans to integrate UUG's urology capabilities and ancillary services into its physician-led oncology platform.
