Vantage Data Centers Secures $1.6B Investment from GIC and ADIA; Acquires Yondr's 300MW+ Johor Campus

Vantage Data Centers completed a $1.6 billion equity investment into its Asia‑Pacific platform led by an affiliate of GIC and a wholly owned subsidiary of ADIA, and used part of that capital to close the acquisition of Yondr Group’s 300MW+ hyperscale campus (JHB1) in Sedenak Tech Park, Johor, Malaysia. The deal expands Vantage’s APAC platform to roughly 1GW of operational and planned capacity and brings more than 30 Yondr APAC team members into the Vantage organization.

SoftBank Group entered into a definitive agreement to acquire DigitalBridge Group, an alternative asset manager focused on digital infrastructure, for about $4.0 billion enterprise value. The all-cash deal is structured as SoftBank’s indirect acquisition of all outstanding shares of DigitalBridge for $16.00 per share and is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

DigitalBridge and Brookfield Infrastructure to Acquire 51% of GD Towers

DigitalBridge Group (NYSE: DBRG) and funds affiliated with its investment management arm, together with Brookfield Infrastructure and its institutional partners, have agreed to acquire a 51% ownership stake in GD Towers, the mobile telecommunications tower business of Deutsche Telekom AG. The transaction values GD Towers at €17.5 billion (including assumption of net debt) and is expected to close in late 2022, subject to regulatory approvals. Deutsche Telekom will retain a 49% minority stake after the deal closes.

Riveron Acquires Yantra to Expand CFO Technology and Analytics Capabilities

Riveron, a Kohlberg-backed business advisory firm, has acquired Yantra, a Santa Clara–based technology and advisory services provider specializing in NetSuite, data science, analytics, AI, RPA, and platform integrations. The acquisition (terms not disclosed) makes Riveron one of the largest NetSuite Alliance Partners and expands its global team by adding Yantra's ~300 employees across the United States, Canada, India, and the Philippines.
