DigitalOcean Acquires Cloudways

DigitalOcean Holdings has agreed to acquire Cloudways for $350 million in cash to expand managed cloud hosting and SaaS capabilities for small to medium-sized businesses. The companies say the combination will simplify cloud workflows, broaden global SMB reach, and enhance DigitalOcean’s offerings for agencies and eCommerce builders. DigitalOcean later announced the acquisition was completed.
