Sherwin‑Williams Acquires Sika's European Industrial Coatings Business

The Sherwin‑Williams Company completed its acquisition of the European industrial coatings business of Sika AG, which will join Sherwin‑Williams' Performance Coatings Group. The business is based in Germany (with sales/technical support in Poland, Austria and Switzerland), contributes approximately CHF 75 million in 2020 sales, and about 115 Sika employees will join Sherwin‑Williams.

CIRCOR International to Acquire Swelore Engineering and Hiro Nisha Systems

CIRCOR International (KKR portfolio company) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Swelore Engineering Pvt. Ltd. and Hiro Nisha Systems Pvt. Ltd., two Indian pump manufacturers, with a combined legacy of over 50 years. The deal will add diaphragm metering pumps, dosing packages, and high-pressure reciprocating pumps to CIRCOR’s Industrial portfolio and strengthen its footprint in India. The transaction is expected to close in Q3/Q4 2025, subject to customary closing conditions.

Dover Corporation Acquires ipp Pump Products GmbH

Dover Corporation has acquired ipp Pump Products GmbH, a Bersenbrück, Germany-based manufacturer of sanitary and hygienic pump technologies, which will join Dover's Pump Solutions Group (PSG) within the Pumps & Process Solutions segment. The purchase expands Dover/PSG's capabilities in hygienic applications serving food & beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other mission-critical end markets; terms were not disclosed.

Dover Acquires Malema Engineering Corporation

Dover Corporation has agreed to acquire Malema Engineering Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of high-precision flow-measurement and control instruments, for $225 million in cash plus up to $50 million in contingent consideration. Malema, based in Boca Raton, Florida, will join Dover’s PSG business unit and expand Dover’s single-use bioprocessing offerings while strengthening its presence in semiconductor and industrial end markets.

SARIA Acquires Devro for £540 Million

Dober Acquires Soltellus Agronomy and Water Treatment Businesses from Lygos

Dober, a family-owned specialty chemical manufacturer based in Woodridge, Illinois, has acquired the Soltellus Agronomy and Water Treatment businesses from Lygos, Inc. The deal gives Dober greater control over manufacturing, quality and product development for Soltellus polymers (production to continue at Hazleton, Pennsylvania and R&D at Woodridge, Illinois), while Lygos retains Soltellus for Home and Personal Applications and its proprietary technology.
