Quantic Electronics, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired Planar Monolithics Industries (PMI), a designer and manufacturer of hybrid MIC/MMIC microwave components and subsystems. The acquisition expands Quantic's portfolio of specialty electronics manufacturers serving space, military, communications and commercial markets.

Garmin Ltd. Acquires JL Audio

Garmin Ltd. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire JL Audio, a U.S.-based designer and manufacturer of premium audio solutions. The acquisition (expected to close by end of 2023) will add JL Audio's audio engineering and product capabilities to Garmin's portfolio to enable premium audio integration across Garmin's marine, automotive, powersports, home and RV product lines.

CMT Engineering Laboratories Acquires Paradigm Consultants

CMT Engineering Laboratories, a CAI Capital Partners-backed portfolio company, has acquired Paradigm Consultants, a Houston-based provider of construction materials testing, inspection, geotechnical engineering and forensic services. The add-on expands CMT's presence in Texas by adding approximately 40 personnel and retains Paradigm leadership with Woody Vogt and Ray Meyer keeping equity and remaining in their roles.
