CardieX Limited (ASX: CDX) acquired the assets of Silicon Valley–based Blumio, Inc., bringing Blumio's cardiovascular wearable sensor algorithms and data analytics into CardieX's CONNEQT and ATCOR product ecosystem. Blumio's CEO Catherine Liao and Head of Product Steve Braaten joined CardieX as part of the transaction; financial terms were not disclosed.

BioIntelliSense Acquires AlertWatch Clinical Intelligence Engine

BioIntelliSense, a continuous health monitoring and clinical intelligence company, has acquired AlertWatch, an FDA-cleared clinical intelligence and triage system. The acquisition combines AlertWatch’s multi-parameter decision support and centralized triage dashboard with BioIntelliSense’s medical-grade BioButton wearable and DaaS platform, and AlertWatch will be distributed to U.S. hospitals through Medtronic’s Patient Monitoring business as part of BioIntelliSense’s HealthCast portfolio.

Kingsway Financial Services (NYSE: KFS) acquired Digital Diagnostics Imaging, Inc. (DDI), a New Jersey-based provider of outsourced cardiac monitoring telemetry services, for $11.0 million in an all-cash transaction funded with cash and debt. The acquisition, completed under Kingsway's Search Xcelerator platform, is immediately accretive and adds about $4.2 million of annual revenue and $1.8 million of annual adjusted EBITDA while bringing a capital-light, recurring-revenue capability into Kingsway's portfolio.
