Leonard Green & Partners acquired Service Logic from Warburg Pincus. Service Logic, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, operates 76 branches across the United States as a leading provider of commercial HVAC aftermarket maintenance, repair and replacement services; the company will remain led by CEO Craig Steinke and management, and Leonard Green intends to support continued organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Terms were not disclosed; committed debt financing was provided by JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Antares Capital, and Crescent Capital.

ACT Capital Advisors advised HVAC, Inc. on the transaction; the deal expands Service Logic’s West Coast footprint and adds HVAC, Inc.’s design, installation, maintenance and building-automation capabilities to its national network.
