The deal expands MAI’s footprint in the Mid-Atlantic — adding Lowe’s nine-person, boutique, family-led practice and its niche client base while transitioning the firm onto MAI’s national platform; terms were not disclosed.

World Investment Advisors Acquires Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors

Santa Barbara-based World Investment Advisors, a subsidiary of World Insurance Associates, has acquired Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors, an independent financial advisory firm based in Westborough, Massachusetts. The deal brings more than $3.5 billion in AUM, 76 team members and 15 offices into World’s platform as part of its ongoing RIA roll-up and AUM growth strategy.

MAI Capital Management Acquires Concentric Wealth Management

Cleveland-based MAI Capital Management has acquired Concentric Wealth Management, a Lafayette, California RIA with six employees and $662 million in client assets, effective December 31, 2024. Concentric's founders, Eric Flett and Stewart McGuire, will adopt MAI branding and join as regional presidents as the firm integrates MAI's operations, HR and marketing resources.

Galway Holdings Invests in MAI Capital Management

Galway Holdings announced an investment in MAI Capital Management, adding a wealth and financial management vertical to Galway’s platform and enabling MAI to accelerate organic growth and M&A. MAI’s executive team will remain in place, Wealth Partners Capital Group will retain an equity stake, and Galway — backed by private equity investors including Carlyle, Oak Hill and Harvest — will integrate MAI’s services with its EPIC insurance distribution capabilities.
