PROFILE Products Acquires HydroStraw, LLC

PROFILE Products LLC acquired the erosion control and seed businesses of HydroStraw, LLC, including HydroStraw’s Rockford, Washington production plant, distribution center and employees. The acquisition expands Profile’s erosion-control product line, manufacturing and distribution capabilities in the western United States; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal closed on February 20, 2020.

Profile Products LLC acquired Nivetha Exporters (renamed CoirSci), an India-based producer of coco coir horticultural products, adding coconut coir capabilities and manufacturing facilities in Southern India to Profile's horticulture portfolio. The deal expands Profile's raw material offerings (peat, coir, HydraFiber) and strengthens its global horticultural supply chain and product mix.

Incline Equity Partners Acquires Profile Products LLC from Platte River Equity

Cargill Acquires Floratech

The deal expands Cargill’s Cargill Beauty capabilities by adding Floratech’s specialty ingredient portfolio and R&D/manufacturing expertise to accelerate nature-derived, sustainable solutions for cosmetics customers worldwide.

Adecoagro Acquires Profertil to Become Controlling Shareholder

Adecoagro S.A. has acquired the remaining 50% stake in Profertil S.A. from YPF S.A., becoming the controlling shareholder with 90% ownership (Asociación de Cooperativas Argentinas retains 10%). The transaction (together with the earlier acquisition of Nutrien's 50% stake) gives Adecoagro control of a low‑cost, large‑scale urea producer in Argentina and was financed through cash, debt and a US$300 million equity raise.

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions Acquires Iowa Fertilizer Company (IFCO) from OCI Global

Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) completed the acquisition of Iowa Fertilizer Company LLC (IFCO) from OCI Global for $3.6 billion on a cash-free, debt-free basis, closing Aug. 29, 2024 (deal signed Dec. 18, 2023). The Wever, Iowa facility — commissioned in 2017 with capacity of 3.5 million metric tons of nitrogen fertilizers and diesel exhaust fluid annually — joins Koch's fertilizer platform, expanding its US production footprint and eastern U.S. market reach.
