Virtuos Acquires Beyond-FX

Virtuos, the Singapore-headquartered game development and art production company, has acquired Beyond-FX, a Los Angeles-based real-time visual effects (VFX) studio. Beyond-FX — a 39-person team led by founder Keith Guerrette — will continue operating as a Virtuos studio to expand Virtuos' real-time VFX capabilities and deepen its co-development services for AAA game clients.

The deals integrate co-development, engineering, and live-services expertise into Virtuos' global network, increasing its West headcount to over 1,200 and bolstering full-cycle game development offerings.
