Legence, a Blackstone portfolio company and Energy Transition Accelerator, has acquired Shadpour Consulting Engineers, Inc. (SC Engineers), a San Diego-based mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering and energy-efficiency consulting firm. The add-on expands Legence’s MEP, building automation and commissioning capabilities in Southern California and strengthens its sustainability and decarbonization services across the Western United States; terms were not disclosed.

Valcon, the Waterland-backed European consulting group, has acquired UK-based P2 Consulting to strengthen its UK practice and expand capabilities in digital transformation, data and programme delivery. P2, a London-headquartered firm of about 200 people that was backed by Lonsdale Capital Partners, will be combined with Valcon's existing UK team to broaden consulting, technology and data offerings across Financial Services, Utilities, Retail and Government clients.
