The acquisition brings Avascent’s ~130 professionals and deep A&D, government-focused and private equity advisory capabilities into Oliver Wyman’s Transportation & Services and Private Capital practices to strengthen its sector expertise and deal/post-transaction services.

Advantage GPS, an Irvine-based provider of automotive analytics and GPS risk-mitigation solutions, acquired Michigan-based Asset Tracking Technology, a distributor of GPS tracking devices serving subprime lenders, BHPH dealerships and fleets. The acquisition strengthens Advantage GPS's Midwest presence and ability to deliver in-person service and expanded device distribution while the Asset Tracking Technology team will remain to support the transition.

Mercury Systems Acquires Avalex Technologies Corporation

Mercury Systems, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire Avalex Technologies Corporation, a Gulf Breeze, Florida-based provider of mission-critical avionics (rugged displays, communications management, digital video recorders, and warning systems). The all-cash asset purchase (subject to customary adjustments) is expected to be funded with cash on hand and the company's revolving credit facility; Avalex generated approximately $40 million of revenue for the year ended December 31, 2022 with ~25% adjusted EBITDA margins and the deal was expected to close in Mercury's fiscal Q2 2022 (subject to HSR clearance).

SAM Companies Acquires AXIS GeoSpatial (and AXIS GeoAviation)

The acquisition expands SAM's airborne geospatial data acquisition, LiDAR and imagery capabilities and broadens its client base across utilities, transportation, forestry, environmental and government sectors.
