SunTx Capital Partners Invests in Anchor Partners

Dallas-based private equity firm SunTx Capital Partners announced an investment in Anchor Partners, the Dallas holding company for a family of metal manufacturing businesses. The investment will support Anchor's recent acquisition of a provider of proprietary intermodal equipment storage and transportation systems to the U.S. government and position the platform to pursue further add-on acquisitions and scale production; financial terms were not disclosed.

Potomac Equity Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based private equity firm, announced an investment in and strategic partnership with Watermark Solutions, LLC, a Houston-based provider of ERP business solutions, technology and hosting services. The investment will be used to accelerate Watermark’s growth by expanding its sales and customer service organization, enhancing technology capabilities and broadening its solutions and hosting offerings (including through its Apptrix subsidiary).

NexPhase Capital Invests in Aztec Software

Sun Capital Affiliate Acquires Environmental Infrastructure Solutions from O2 Investment Partners

An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Environmental Infrastructure Solutions (EIS), a Fort Worth-based provider of abatement, decontamination and remediation services, from O2 Investment Partners. Sun Capital said it will apply its industrial and buy-and-build expertise to accelerate EIS's growth, expand service capabilities and capitalize on growing demand for environmental safety and infrastructure remediation.

ECP (Energy Capital Partners) has acquired Pivot Energy, a national commercial and community solar developer, in a transaction that closed on June 1, 2021.
