Elevance Health has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana (BCBSLA). The transaction will integrate BCBSLA into Elevance's Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield family, keep the Louisiana headquarters and workforce local, and expand Elevance's capabilities and footprint in Louisiana.
