FLEETCOR Acquires Associated Foreign Exchange (AFEX)

FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc. announced it will acquire Associated Foreign Exchange (AFEX), a global cross-border payments and FX risk management provider, to strengthen its corporate cross-border payments capabilities and complement its Cambridge Global Payments business. AFEX serves more than 35,000 customers and processes over $22 billion in annual volume; the deal was signed in September 2020 and expected to close in early 2021 subject to regulatory approvals.

FLEETCOR Acquires Plugsurfing and Invests in Zap-Map

FLEETCOR Technologies acquired Plugsurfing, a European EV charging software and roaming network provider, and separately made a strategic investment in UK-based Zap-Map. The moves expand FLEETCOR's EV capabilities—adding charging network access, driver apps, payment and white‑label solutions—to better serve fleets, OEMs and charge point operators across Europe.

FLEETCOR Acquires Levarti

FLEETCOR Technologies has acquired Levarti, an airline software platform provider whose MAX suite automates passenger disruption workflows including re-bookings, hotel accommodations, transfers and vouchers. FLEETCOR said the deal will complement its airline lodging business and help accelerate lodging sales to global airline clients.

Vertu Capital and BDC Capital Acquire Firmex from Novacap

Datasite Acquires Firmex from Vertu Capital and BDC Growth Equity Partners

Datasite, a leading SaaS provider for M&A professionals, has acquired Firmex, a Toronto-based virtual data room and secure document-sharing SaaS provider, from majority owners Vertu Capital and BDC Growth Equity Partners Fund I. Firmex will operate as a standalone strategic business unit within Datasite with its management team retained; financial terms were not disclosed.

FLEETCOR Acquires Accrualify

FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc. has acquired Accrualify, Inc., a cloud-based accounts payable (AP) automation software provider, to expand its corporate payments and procure-to-pay capabilities. The acquisition adds end-to-end AP workflow and payments execution technology to FLEETCOR's corporate payments platform and is expected to increase demand and revenue per client.
