Franklin Templeton (Franklin Resources, Inc.) has acquired volScout, an early-stage provider of managed options strategies, and hired its founding partners Brad Berggren, Jon Orseck and Roger Weber. The deal creates Franklin Managed Options Strategies (Franklin MOST) within Franklin Templeton's Product Solutions division to add rules-based managed options capabilities for advisors, wealth management and institutional clients.
