French instrumentation group Bertin Technologies has acquired Finnish CBRN detection specialist Environics Oy from Verso Capital; the deal was announced September 29, 2022 and is backed by Bertin's owner FCDE. The acquisition creates a combined European CBRN player, strengthens Bertin's Nordic presence and expands its portfolio of detection, identification and monitoring solutions for authorities, manufacturers and first responders.

Philip Morris International Acquires Fertin Pharma from EQT Private Equity

Philip Morris International has agreed to acquire Fertin Pharma, a Denmark-headquartered specialist CDMO in oral and intra-oral delivery technologies, from EQT Private Equity for a headline enterprise value of DKK 5.1 billion. Fertin Pharma — which operates sites in Denmark, Canada and India and employs more than 860 people — will strengthen PMI's smoke-free and beyond-nicotine product capabilities; the transaction is subject to customary approvals.

Cinven to acquire majority stake in Euro Techno Com Group from Carlyle

Cinven has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire a majority stake in Euro Techno Com Group (ETC Group), a France‑headquartered distributor of telecom and technology infrastructure products, from Carlyle. Founder and CEO Cédric Varasteh would retain a significant stake and Carlyle will reinvest as a minority shareholder; the Group has around 1,100 employees and generates more than €1 billion in annual revenues.

Lectra to Acquire Gerber Technology

Lectra entered into a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire all capital and voting rights of US-based Gerber Technology, subject to work council consultation, merger control clearance and shareholder approval. The proposed deal envisages an upfront cash-free / debt-free payment of €175 million plus 5 million newly issued Lectra shares to AIPCF VI LG (an affiliate of American Industrial Partners), representing a total consideration of about €300 million based on Lectra's Feb 5, 2021 share price; Gerber reported €165 million of revenue in 2020.

Fortino Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Bonitasoft
