Lineage Capital-backed Flightcheck Commercial Aviation Services acquired Keenan Technical Industries (KTI), a provider of aircraft line maintenance services at Bradley International Airport (BDL) and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT). The transaction closed on December 15, 2023 and expands Flightcheck's line maintenance footprint into the U.S. Northeast as an add-on to its existing platform.

Wheels Up Acquires Air Partner plc

Wheels Up Experience Inc. has completed its all-cash acquisition of U.K.-based Air Partner plc for 125 pence per share, valuing the business at approximately $109 million. The deal expands Wheels Up's international footprint and adds group charter, freight, and aviation safety & security services to its product portfolio; Air Partner will continue to operate from its Gatwick headquarters and retain its leadership team.

Wren Sterling Acquires Sentinel, BKASL and Rothesay Intelligent Financial Services

Wren Sterling completed three acquisitions in the first half of 2021, buying Sentinel Private Clients Limited (Warwickshire), Bookeeping Administration Services Ltd (Cardiff) and Rothesay Intelligent Financial Services Ltd (Bedfordshire). The deals add roughly £294m of client assets and about 550 clients to Wren Sterling as it continues a roll-up strategy supported by acquisition funding partner DunPort Capital Management.

ATIS Acquires Bayline Lift Technologies

MacQueen Equipment (MacQueen Emergency) Acquires Allegiant Emergency Services

MacQueen Equipment, via its MacQueen Emergency division and backed by Rotunda Capital Partners, has acquired Allegiant Emergency Services Inc., a Sioux Falls-based dealer of personal safety and firefighting equipment. The acquisition is an add-on to expand MacQueen Emergency's presence and service capabilities in South Dakota, with Allegiant continuing to operate out of its Sioux Falls location and being rebranded as MacQueen Emergency.

Delta, Certares and Knighthead Provide $500M Recapitalization Facility to Wheels Up

Delta Air Lines, Certares Management LLC and Knighthead Capital Management LLC (via CK Opportunities) agreed to provide a $500 million facility — $400 million term loan plus a $100 million liquidity facility from Delta — to Wheels Up to support the company’s business transformation. As part of the recapitalization, Wheels Up will issue Class A common stock to participating lenders (who are expected to own ~95% post-transaction) to stabilize operations and accelerate the company’s path to profitability.
